A political ally of Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa Rabiu Abubakar Emir has formally announced his defection to the ruling PDP on Sunday.
Emir who spoke with the Managing Editor of Thunder Blowers on phone said “it is true I have abandoned Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa and joined the camp of Bello Matawalle in the ruling PDP.

He said the reasons for his defection would be made known to the public shortly.
The defection of Rabiu Emir came nearly two weeks after the re-union of the All Progressive Congress in Zamfara which saw the melting of the Yari faction with that of Group of (8).
