The biological son of of Deputy State Treasurer (ST) Alh Aliyu Sani Bungudu has been abducted by some suspected bandits at his country home in Bungudu local government area of Zamfara State on Thursday.
A confided source told this medium that, the victim was abducted on Thursday evening when he was sent for a message within their residential area.
It was also gathered that, the suspected abductors called the father to inform him that his son has been abducted and even linked them to speak on phone.
The confided source also informed this medium that, the father confessed that for close to a week same number has been calling to threaten him of possible abduction but he eventually ignored the threat.
He said that same Thursday evening they have called to placed a ransom of unspecified amount of money which the father rejected outrightly.
The source said, the father boldly informed them that, he is not ready to pay a dime and that they should either release the boy or do whatever they want to do.
Zamfara State Police Command Public Relations Officer SP Shehu Muhammad could not be reached for comment but message was sent to his mobile phone for confirmation.
