A car dealer in Gusau the Zamfara state capital and four others were arraigned on Tuesday before the state magistrate court for decapitating and eating the body part of a (9) year old boy identified as Ahmad Yakubu Aliyu.
The accused were brought before the magistrate court amidst tight security by the opearatives of the Nigerian Police Force.
After reading the charges against the accused, the suspects pleaded not guilty to the charges instituted against them.
After denying the charges, the judge Sa’adu Gurbin Bore adjourned the matter until February 8th 2022 for mentioning.
A small drama however ensued when the parents and well-wishers stormed the court seeking for justice for their murdered son.
They claimed that they were worried by the manner in which their son was killed, promising not to forgive the culprits.
Jamila Abdulrahaman Hafiz who doubled as the mother of the boy said she was in the court to ensure that justice is done to her late child
who was innocently murdered.
Justice Sa’adu therefore ordered for the remand of the three suspects to the Gusau correctional center and the two young ones at a remand home
