A chieftain of All Progressive Congress in Zamfara Ahmad Abubakar has described the suspension of the member representing Bakura Ibrahim T. Tukur over connection with armed bandit activities as a clear affirmation of their allegation of use of armed bandits during Bakura bye election.
Maradun who spoke exclusively to this medium said APC had earlier raised alarm during the bye election for Bakura that the current administration had hired bandits to rigged the election against late Bello Dankande Gamji.
He said with what happened today where members of the state Assembly themselves accused same members of aiding abetting banditry, it has become clear that their allegation describing the incident that characterized Bakura bye election as vindication of their position.
He emphasized that with time, people of Zamfara would come to realize that the present government is not prepared for governance.
