The member representing Anka at the state House of Assembly Yusuf Muhammad Anka has declared that the recent decision ordering for his suspension may not be unconnected with the recent move he initiated which aimed at suspending Zamfara Speaker over his incapacitation.

Anka who spoke exclusively to Thunder Blowers said, being him the Chairman of the movement for the impeachment of the speaker which started last two months, the speaker opted to come up with this new conspiracy.

He said before now he was confronted by the speaker when he heard about the movement for his impeachment and the speaker threatened him if he continues with the initiative.

The lawmaker added that even the Governor personally called and threatened him over the impeachment move, noting that, all effort to let the Governor understand how to worst the condition of the members of state house of assembly failed as he refused to give him listening ears.

He added that after some days the Governor sent former Finance minister Bashir Yuguda to broker peace between them and speaker and the entire members who constitute the movement accepted to suspend their intentions because of the intervention of former minister Yuguda.

Yusuf further said the entire members only urged the Governor to get things corrected in terms of how he runs his government in the overall interest of moving the state forward.

He said, surprisingly, while in Kano attending UNICEF training, he started receiving calls from different quarters informing him of his suspension over alleged connection with armed bandits.

He challenged the mover of the motion Yusuf Alhassan Kanoma to schedule time for them to swear with the holy Quran if at all he is sincere.

While expressing optimism that the committee of ethics and privileges would do justice to him and his colleague, he reaffirms his determination to dragging the state House of Assembly to court for damaging his name and reputation.

He described as bunch lies the allegation by his colleague Hon Kanoma that he and T. Tukur were seen jubilating when they heard about the news of the abduction of the father of the speaker, noting that when the incident happened he was in Kaduna attending his lectures but called and commiserate with the speaker over the unfortunate incident.

He also debunked the allegation by Kanoma that he and his colleague representing Bakura had run away from taking the new “Oath of self distancing” on armed banditry recently introduced by the Governor.
