The recent development that trailed the All Progressives Congress( APC) in Zurmi and Shinkafi has continued to raise a fresh dust in the political landscape and the prospects of the party hence people believed there are many hidden things that are past becoming in the public domain.
Some groups of politicians believed to be loyalists to Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa led by one Auwalu Alhazzai mobilized the APC supporters from the zone with a threat against the candidature of Senator Sahabi Alh. Ya’U and Hon.Umar S. Fada Moriki.
Their arguments are simple: Marafa supporters in Shinkafi have been neglected and sidelined on the major decisions that affect the party in the constituency. They argued further that, major dividends of democracy that are donated to people by the party are not extended to supporters of Senator Marafa.
They even accused Umar S. Fada of using his influence as Director General in the administration of former Governor Abdu’aziz Yari to molest and intimidate the supporters of Senator Marafa during the crises of G8.
The congregation at Shinkafi on Saturday has really called for concern hence people believed the decision by the Marafa supporters may be a big set-back for the chances of the party considering its ripe to maturity in terms of reconciliation between the three major political blocks of the APC in Zamfara.
AN ASsESSMENT OF THE PUBLIC REACTIONS.
Alh. Ibrahim Shinkafi is a supporter of the APC in Shinkafi and he informed this medium on phone that the steps taken by Mr. Awal Alhazzai is really a sad one because for him there is no political movement conducted without involving the supporters of Senator. Marafa as far as Shinkafi is concerned.
He insisted that, unless if Mr. Alhazzai is has another ulterior motive against the APC in Shinkafi there is no basis why he shall raise alarm especially by asking the Marafa supporters not to vote for Sahabi and Hon.Umar S. Fada.”why crying wolf when there is none”he enthused.
“It is sabotage against the party because for once we have not heard of any complaint by any supporter of Senator Marafa not until when Awalu Alhazzai came up with this ugly development”.
Another supporter of the APC in Shinkafi Alh.Lawali Garba said “it was unfortunate that some groups of people are working against the party (APC) even when everyone in Shinkafi knew that we conducted our affairs as a party in unity with all the political blocks. For Awal Alhazzai to raise this fresh issue trying to point at the party with the impression of crises is really unpatriotic”.
Senator Marafa shall call Awalu Alhazzai and and indeed those that grouped against the party together with him to order. This time around they need to understand that the party shall be supreme and any attempt to bring a set-back to the party is a clear manifestation of the case of anti-party which the APC leadership shall vehemently resist”.
Hajiya Sadiya a chieftain of the All progressive Congress (APC)in Zurmi challenged Alhazzai to came up with the fact that the party in Zurmi particularly is working in isolation of the Marafa camp noting that to the best of her knowledge, no single meeting is held without Marafa’s political structure fully integrated in the decision making process.
“We met with Alhazzai and the rest at various meetings of the party and to the best of my knowledge we have never met for once without supporters of Marafa on ground. The issues raised by Alhazzai are simply a political concoction created to seek for gullible and soft audience”.

This medium contacted Umar S. Fada regarding the development and he expressed shock with the development since he stated clearly that to the best of his knowledge he has never operated in isolation of the supporters of Marafa and any APC big-wigs.
He said it is surprising that this issue is raised at this very critical time when APC is enjoying internal peace and stability and assured that he will reach-out to Mr. Alhazzai and find out what exactly is wrong with their group.
“I personally knew that in every consultation and meeting held by the APC in Zurmi and Shinakafi Marafa supporters are invited and also involved and I will be surprised for someone to raise this concern now but I will find out from them”.
“The APC in Zamfara led by Matawalle, Former Governor Yari and Senator Marafa had been working tirelessly to ensure that, unity of purpose is achieved and for me if any of the APC supporters is raising concern that he is not treated well or fairly I have the responsibility of making sure that I attend to his grievance and resolve them accordingly.
