The remains of Zamfara State PDP Chairman Alh Ibrahim Mallaha has been laid to rest in Gusau the Zamfara State capital on Thursday evening.
His remains arrived Nigeria from Germany on Wednesday and moved to Gusau on Thursday in company of hundreds of family members and political asaociates.
The state Deputy Governor Mahdi Aliyu, Senator representing Zamfara Central Hassan Muhammad Nasiha and former Speaker of Zamfara State House of Assembly Sanusi Garba Rikiji were among the prominent personalities that accompanied the dead body of the State PDP Chairman to Zamfara.
Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle in company of some members of the State Exceutive Council, and other prominent politicians in the state attended the funeral prayers.
Delegation from the opposition All Progressive Congress APC in the state also attended the funeral prayers and sent in their message of condolences to the PDP and families of the deceased.
It could be recalled that, the State PDP Chairman Alh Ibrahim Mallaha died in Germany on Sunday after battling with an illness and his remain was flown to Nigeria on Wednesday for burial.
