The voter education and enlightenment committee of Zamfara circle led by its chairman Mr Ishak Idris Gusau paid a courtesy visit to the management of Thunder Blowers Multimedia Services with a demand for building synergy in the area of voter education campaign.
The circle said it was moved by the poor attitude of the Zamfara citizens in accessing fresh voter cards ahead of the 2023 general elections.
He said the rationale behind the visit to Thunder Blowers is to seek for the support and cooperation of the management of Thunder Blowers in having the right platform to enlighten the state citizens on the need to collect voters card and participate in the general elections.
Responding, the Managing Editor and Team Lead of the medium Dr. Anas Sani Anka assured them of the commitment of the media outfit in providing the right platform for this important new task.
He also urged them to consider establishing partnership with the medium in organizing debate for those aspiring for various positions ahead of the 2023 general elections.
He also encouraged them to look inward to strengthen enlightenment campaign on governance so that citizens can be enlightened more about the extent of the governance crises in the state.
