Zamfara State Deputy Governor has flag-off a one-day sensitization workshop for the principal office and crew members of his convoy in Gusau on Sunday.
The Chairman of the organizing Committee who doubled as the Director General Press Affairs Babangida Umar Zurmi disclosed this via a statement released to the newsmen.
He said the idea was initiated by the Deputy Governor in order to avail his staff with the new ways of doing things and also build their capacities toward facing the new challenges in their respective places of work.
He said, Senator Nasiha described the workshop as timely, noting that the global trend is shifting ground for people working in government to adopt.
“He said as Deputy Governor there is a need for all the personnel attached to his office ranging from Press, Protocols, Security, Drivers, and domestic staff to be fully sensitized on their respective responsibilities”.
Former Commissioner of Protocol Affairs Sani Garba Gusau and Former Director of Press Affairs Mal. Bashir Sanda Gusau were among the resource individuals invited to deliver lectures during the workshop.
