The Chief detail of former Governor of Zamfara Abdulkadir Augie has been reported dead on Sunday night.
According to a source from the family of the former Governor, Augie died at Usmanu Danfodio University Teaching Hospital Sokoto after battling with an undisclosed illness.
Augie a staff of DSS worked with the former Governor between 2011 to 2019 as part of his security details and was retained by the former Governor as his personal chief detail after living the service.
His funeral prayers and burial would be held in Sokoto at a yet to be announced time on Monday.
