Governor Dauda Lawal has on Thursday sworn in the newly appointed Head of Service of Zamfara state at the Chambers of the state Government House, Gusau.
Malam Yakubu Sani Haidara was sworn in alongside (12) other newly appointed Permanent Secretaries who were elevated after passing through a competency examination.
Justice Bello Tukur Gummi who stood in for the state Chief Judge Mrs. Kulu Isah Aliyu administered the oath of office and that of allegiance to the new appointees.
The Governor in a remark during the ceremony urged the new Head of Service to specifically see his appointment as a call to serve and urged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in the transformation of the state service.
He said the selection of Mr. Yakubu Sani Haidara was purely based on competency and based on his track record of service.
While congratulating the new Permanent Secretaries, the Governor reminded them of the onerous task ahead of them and also the rigorous procedures followed in their selection process and work harder to demonstrate the confidence reposed on them.
The newly appointed Head of Service in a vote of thanks assured, the Governor of their unwavering commitment toward lifting the status of the state service to an invisible stage.
The Governor also allocated brand new official vehicles to the new Head of Service and all the Permanent Secretaries in the state.
