Governor Bello Matawalle has declared that, Zamfara has only one patient of #COVID19 in its isolation centre.
He made made the disclosure at Maradun while recieving a delegation of the state executive council who paid him Sallah homage.
Elaborating on this development, Matawalle asserted that following the measures taken to curtail the spread of the COVID19, the state is recording remarkable success as even the remaining index case is expected to be discharged soon as the sample taken from him has been taken for final test.
In a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Malam Bello Zauma reads that, “the state government has been active in making sure that, Zamfara is declared Covid-19 free”.
