Former Governor of Zamfara Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar said Governor Bello Matawalle has done his best to ensure that peace has returned to Zamfara state.
Former Governor Yari who stated this in Tsafe during the APC campaign rally in Tsafe on Tuesday insisted that, even though some cases of insecurity are still being encountered in some part of the state, the government of Matawalle has tried its best to ensure that peace has returned to Zamfara state.
“You could recall that, it was here in Tsafe I promised you that three months after Buhari climbed the position of power, he will end insecurity and unfortunately despite his experience as a retired soldier the problem of insecurity lingers in Nigeria”.
If Buhari as a retired soldier could not end insecurity, how much more of Matawalle and this is the more reason why we should commend the effort of the Governor Matawalle for what he was able to do in the area of fighting insecurity and of we give him another mandate to continue with the good work he has started many things may changed”.
“The Governor has assured us that he will do his best to fighting insecurity and also restore a lasting peace and it is essentially important we give another chance”.
