Zamfara state police command says all is set to reunite the over (200) abductees rescued from captivity with their families.
Zamfara Police Commissioner Ayuba Elkana presented the rescued victims to members of the Press at the State Police headquarters in Gusau on Thursday.
Some victims were said to have spent over forty-five days in captivity.
There were nursing mothers, the aged and juveniles among the rescued abductees according to the authorities.
Most of them are also looking very unhealthy, and it may be as a result of long days of depression in captivity.
Authorities have further confirmed that the victims were rescued through the peace and reconciliation effort of the state government.
