The newly appointed Chairman of Zamfara State Board of Internal Revenue Ali Akilu Dama Bungudu has been screened by members of the State House of Assembly on Monday.
The screening exercise took place at Ibrahim Malaha legislative chamber and was attended by hundreds of family members friends and well-wishers who accompanied him to the event.
During the screening, Dama was deeply drilled on issues related to boosting IGR, staff motivation, non remittance of IGR by some government organizations as well plans made to revive and enhance the operations of the board.
Dama assured members of the House that his stewardship at the State Board of Internal Revenue would be a unique one since he is ready to initiate reforms that would raise Zamfara State high in terms of revenue generation.
He used the opportunity to condole the members of the State House of Assembly over the demise of their colleague, Hon. Muhammad G. Ahmad and prayed for God almighty to grant him Jannatul Firdausi.
