Zamfara State Deputy Governor Senator Hassan Muhammad Nasiha has paid a sympathy visit to the Internally Displaced Persons in Gummi local government.
He has also distributed two trucks of assorted food items to the victims.
“The state Governor has instructed me to visit you and and sympathize with you over the tragic incident of armed bandit attack which resulted in loss of lives and destruction of properties”.
“The Governor said I shall extend his greetings and sympathy to you, and also assured you that his administration will take the appropriate steps of getting the insecurity rocking the state managed to the expectations of the citizens.
“The Governor has instructed me to bring for you two trucks of assorted food items and money worth five million naira”.
The council sole administrator Abubakar Shehu Dakitakwas thanked the Governor for the support and prayed for God almighty to sustain peace in Zamfara.
