Zamfara State government has been urged to reconsider the release of monthly administrative over-head cost to Principals of boarding schools in order to enhance their ability to manage the affairs of their respective schools.

A retired Principal of Government Science Secondary School Gusau Sani Aliyu Moriki made the appeal when he featured on Thunder Blowers TV show Dawache Kazo on Wednesday.

He said to the best of his knowledge since 2014 Zamfara State government has never released over-head cost to boarding secondary schools and that makes it difficult for principals to manage the affairs of their respective schools.

She said even before his retirement he knows that some principals found it difficult to run the affairs of schools, provide medication to ailing students, and other emerging demands which requires urgent attention of the principals.
