Zamfara state government has perfected its plan to construct new model veterinary clinics across the fourteen local government areas of the state.
State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning Ibrahim Jibo Magayaki stated this when he featured at the Thunder Blowers TV show on Sunday.
He said under the new CARES programme tagged “Matawalle Vision 2023” the administration of Bello Matawalle has decided to extend its projects to reconstructing new model veterinary clinics so that the sub-sector can be enhanced.
“Presently we have over 80 veterinary doctors who are just receiving salary on monthly basis without any job to execute since the existing clinics are not in good shape”.
“The Governor means good for the people remember just recently we took him to the state poultry unit to see the level of deterioration and out rightly he approved the release of 30 million naira for the partial take-off of the place and now the story has changed” Magayaki added.
