Members of Zamfara State House of Assembly have on Wednesday unanimously resolved that, the state government should pay the former Deputy Clerk of the State House of Assembly Ahmad Isah Kanoma his withheld salary arrears from January 2012 to September 2014 when he ought to have retired officially.
According the statement by the Spoke Person of the house Mustapha Jafaru Kaura, the house also directed that, the former Deputy Clerk be paid the areas of his pension from October 2014 to date.
This followed the receipt of the report/recommendations of the house committee on public petition chaired by Sani Dahiru Adabka on the wrongful dismissal of the former Deputy Clerk who doubled as the petitioner in his own case by the immediate past government of Bello Abdulazeez Yari Abubakar
Also during the Wednesday’s plenary, the house cleared two nominees of the post of Special Advisers Habibu Yuguda and Dahiru Muhammad Kura.
