Zamfara State government has donated 100 bags of rice and N500,000 cash to victims of the recent armed bandit attacks in Sakajiki community of Kaura Namoda local government area of the state.
State Deputy Governor Sen. Hassan Nasiha made the disclosure at Unguwar Sarkin Musulmi Railway Junction while returning from a wedding ceremony in Kaura Namoda town.
While extending a sympathy message of the state government over the recent incident, Sen. Nasiha explained that the administration of Matawallen Maradun is doing it’s best to ensure that the lingering insecurity facing the state has been brought to an end.
Sen. Nasiha expressed appreciation for the rapid response of the Council Sole Administrator Nasir Yakamata when the incident occurred, especially by engaging the appropriate security bodies who came to the aide of the people of the area.
He assured that government is deploying adequate machinery to ensure that security personnel are deployed for the people of the community to move back to their original base.
