A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress Sani Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi said, based on intelligent reports made available to the state government, some members of Boko Haram, Ansarudeen and ISWAP are sighted within some territories of Zamfara state.
Wambai who stated this during a press conference in Gusau on Monday captured that, (60) motorcycles allegedly belonging to members of Boko Haram were sighted within Danjibga and Kunchin Kalgo villages in Tsafe local government areas of the state .
Shinkafi is currently the Chairman of the committee on prosecution of armed bandits set up by the state government.
He also stated that, these members of the terrorist groups are beginning to regroup along the forests of Zamfara state noting that, there is no way government of Zamfara led by Bello Matawalle can fold its hand and allow these dangerous groups of terrorists to start operating in Zamfara state.
“There are some intelligent that can be made public and there are those that should be left indoor for the government and indeed all the actors to act accordingly”.
He stated that, people coming from Bukkuyum and Anka could bear a witness that the security situation in Zamfara state is getting too alarming, and that, the Governor needs to act speedily before it is too late.
On the Saturday incident where over twenty people were shot during a PDP politically rally in Gusau, Wambai said to the best of his knowledge security operatives had arrested of many suspects and dangerous arms were recovered and as such stated that soonest, they will make their findings public and people will be informed of who is responsible for the Saturday shooting during the PDP Rally.
