There appeared to be a confusion at the Federal High Court Gusau on Wednesday when two parallel legal teams appeared on behalf of the Peoples Democratic Party, Felix Hyat Chairman, Zamfara state Governorship Primary Election of the People’s Democratic Party held on 23rd September 2022. Zamfara State PDP Chairman Dr. Muhammad Sani Kaura and Dr. Dauda Lawal the declared candidate for the party.
At the resume hearing on Wednesday the 26th of October 2022, Barr. Salahudeen Misbahu who appeared during the last adjourned seating announced his appearance for the 1st to 4th defendants mentioned above.
But surprisingly another lawyer Barr. J. A Shafa stood up and announced appearance for same defendants.
Barr. Ashafa announced that he is holding the brief for P.I.N Ikwueto a learned Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN who is representing the the 1st 3rd and 4th defendants as well as Barr. Chinedu Eze who is representing the 2nd defendant in the matter.
Before proceeding with the matter, presiding judge Justice Aminu Bappa asked the two-legal teams to go and put their houses in order for the matter to proceed.
But Barr. Salahudeen Misbahu outrightly announced his withdrawal for the 1st-4th defendants paving the way for the matter to proceed.
