Members of Zamfara State House of Assembly have confirmed five nominees for the post of Special Advisers.
This followed the receipt of an executive communication from the office of the Secretary to the State Government, Kabiru Balarabe Dan Isah.
House leader Hon. Faruk Musa Dosara raised a motion for members to allow for presentation of the CV by respective nominees and their consequent confirmation.
He sought for the leave of the house members to allow the members to present their CV, and take the vow of honor and leave.
This he said is in consideration of their track records of service and their political contributions to the development of the state.
After a few remarks by members, the Speaker asked the nominees to take their leave and allow the members to continue with other businesses of the house.
The nominees screened and confirmed include Ahmad Abubakar Maradun, Babangida Zannan Damba, Sani Galadi, Kabiru S. Aski and two others from Mafara and Bakura.
The nominees were the former Council Chairmen elected during the regime of Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.
