It was a jubilation galore by the APC supporters in Kebbi state as they assembled in their thousands to receive the APC Presidential candidates and his campaign team Sen. Bola Ahmad Tinubu who was in Kebbi for the Presidential campaign rally.
The venue of the rally was filled beyond its capacity as supporters waited patiently to see the arrival of the APC Presidential campaign team.
National Chairman of the Party Abdullahi Adamu assisted by the DG Presidential campaign council Governor Solomon Lalong and Governor Bello Matawalle the North West APC Presidential campaign Coordinator led the campaign team to Kebbi.
Earlier in a remark, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami who hailed from Kebbi state recalled how President Muhammad Buhari was able to fix Nigeria and brought tremendous development for the country.
He described the choice of Ahmad Bola Tinubu as Buhari’s successor as a good step; hence he will do his best to consolidate from the achievements of Muhammad Buhari.
He appealed to the good people of Kebbi State to come out and vote for Tinubu and indeed all APC candidates so that the party can continue to prosper for the better.
On her own part, wife of Governor Atiku Bagudu Mrs. Aisha Atiku Bagudu reminded the good people of Kebbi what Atiku Bagudu has done for the people in terms of bringing the desired development anticipated by them when they elected him.
She said as woman she knew how hard she worked to be providing support for the women and less privileged individuals as part of the desire of her husband to sustain the support offered by the people in the progress and development of the APC.
The National Chairman of the APC Abdullahi Adamu who expressed joy and happiness with the mammoth crowd that congregated to witness the arrival of the APC Presidential campaign train assured that APC if re-elecfed will continue to do better for the people of Nigeria .
He said with the level of solidarity declared for the APC it was evidently clear that Kebbi is for APC and urged the party supporters to come out and vote for APC across all levels.
“I urged you the people of Kebbi to come out and vote Tinubu and indeed Dr. Nasiru Kauran Gwandu as a way of replicating the good deeds of President Muhammad Buhari”.
While handing over the APC campaign flag to the gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Kebbi, Adamu urged him to work hand in hand with the other stakeholders in Kebbi with a view to ensuri the victory of the party.
The Presidential candidate of the APC Bola Ahmad Tinubu reminded Kebbi people about the family relationship between himself and Kebbi people, noting that he remembered those days when he came to receive a wife for the former Speaker Oladimeji Bankole from the hand of Governor Atiku Bagudu.
“Bagudu is my trusted person and he is a very good person. I am very proud of him and indeed the Kebbi people. God bless you”.
He said that mutual unity and understanding between the people of Lagos and Kebbi State will continue to be sustained forever.
He thanked the people of Kebbi for the hospitality and reception accorded him and urged them to continue to support the APC for the sustainable peace and development.
He emphasized that, if elected, he will work hard to improve security situation of the country and also help the people of Nigeria with solid reforms that will be beneficial to them.
Tinubu also promised that if elected he will work hard to turn Kebbi as one of the biggest agro-allied states in Nigeria and also work assiduously to strengthen the historic Argungu fishing festival.
The Presidential campaign rally in Kebbi marked the end of the tour of the six states of the North West geopolitical zone, with Kaduna state as the opening gate.
The Presidential campaign rally for the North West was under the coordination of Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state, who also doubled as the APC Presidential campaign Coordinator for the North West.
