Emir of Gusau Alh Ibrahim Bello has received in audience the Commander I brigade and joint task force of Operations Hadarin Dani (OPHD) in charge of Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara Brigadier General S. Ahmad in his palace on Monday.
The visit was part of the resolve of the senior military officer to strengthen synergy with the traditional institutions in fighting criminality in the states under his charge.
The Emir while thanking them for the visit assured that his emirate is ready to always work hand in hand with the military and other sister security agencies to ensure that banditry, cattle rustling and other forms of criminality are fought outrightly.
Earlier, the brigade commander informed the monarch that the purpose of the visit was to seek for collaboration with the traditional institutions in their ongoing fight against banditry in the state.
He urged the monarch to continue to support the military in whatever way for them to succeed in securing the state against the acts of criminals.
