The Governor of Zamfara state, Dauda Lawal has received the final report of the M. D. Abubakar led transition committee.
The report was transmitted to the Governor through an event that toll place at the state government house chambers Gusau on Wednesday.
The Governor, while thanking the members of the committee for a job well done, promised that his administration will revitalize all sectors of the state economy.
He also promised that his administration will implement all the recommendations of the committee in line with the rescue mission of the government
He also assured that all his campaign promises would be fulfilled.
He reminded that the state government has reduced the state ministries from 28 to16 to save running cost of governance.
He called on the people of Zamfara state to be patient with his administration, as the government is doing everything humanly possible to raise the living standard of the masses of Zamfara state.
Speaking at the event, the chairman of the committee, IGP Muhammad Abubakar (rtd) said the committee did its best to come up with far-reaching recommendations for of the state.
He said the report of the committee consisted of four parts such as administration, economy, social welfare and environment. He urged the government to study the report with a view to implementing it for the overall interest of the state.
He thanked the Governor for according to him and his members the opportunity to serve the stage in that capacity.
