The member representing Gusau-Tsafe Kabiru Amadu has moved a motion on the floor of the National Assembly seeking for resolution that will allow for appropriate steps to be taken against the incessant armed bandit attack affecting his constituents.
The member who expressed serious lamentation over deteriorating security situation call for the house of representatives to order the executive arms to strengthen machinery aimed at securing his people.
Part of the prayers in his motion is for the house to order for the setting up of military barrack in Tsafe as well release of additional operational facilities to aide the soldiers already deployed in the area.
He also called on the house to direct the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to support the victims with the relief materials as well as setting up a committee that will ensure that things are done as directed.
He also prayed for the house to pass a resolution instructing the military to provide additional soldiers that would fight the armed bandits head-on.
