Some suspected bandits had killed not fewer than (50) people, including women and children at Yargoje village of Kankara local government area of Katsina State.
Locals said the attack which took place on Sunday also left behind several numbers of people badly injured.
Malam Hassan Ya’u , one of the residents that survived the attack, told Reuters that his brother was among those killed while the bandits took time firing gunshots, a circumstance that scared the people.
Another survivor, Abdullahi Yunusa Kankara has also informed Reuters that Yargoje has become a killing ground for the bandits; hence there is no house that did not lost someone to bandit attacks since when the phenomenon started.
