As a show of concern for the plight of the public, the Federal Ministry of Works has responded to the story by Thunder Blowers which calls on the Minister of Works to instruct Setraco Construction firm to tidy the small portion of the road linking Mareri junction to the main Lalan round about in Gusau the capital city of Zamfara.

A day after the report, the management of the medium were informed that, the state controller of Works had instituted action by instructing the firm to commences work on that portion of the road.

The company has since commences action as work is speedily ongoing with commuters expressing hope that after the completion of the road project their suffering may come to an end.

A driver, Malam Bala Sani who commended the state comptroller of works for the rapid response, insisted that every well-meaning citizen who is frequenting that road must come to conclusion that the Federal Ministry of Work is really concern about public outcry.

He urged the comptroller to always leave his door open and work in the best interest of the people.

Another driver, Sani Aliyu Zaria said after fixing the road, the Federal Road Safety corp needs to call the attention of the security agencies, especially the state office of the NSCDC as well as other security agencies such as the police to watch their operatives who develop the habit of mounting road blocks on that portion of the road there by causing serious traffic gridlock.

He lamented that the attitude of the staff of the produce department of the state Ministry of Agriculture operating along that road has consistently caused serious road crises, urging the FRSC office in Zamfara to initiate dialogue with the agencies concerned aimed at ensuring the road blocks have been relocated to some safer places.
