An APC stakeholder in Zamfara Ibrahim Danmalikin Gidan Goga has alleged that over fifty people from Gidan Goga village of Maradun local government of Zamfara state have been under bandit’s captivity.
The politician who was a former Commissioner for Information dropped the revelation during an APC stakeholder’s meeting held in Maradun on Saturday.
He noted that not only in Gidan Goga there have been a series of abductions in places like Danbaza and the rest part of Maradun local government and that although the current government of Dauda Lawal has centered its campaign promises around managing insecurity, it has eventually failed in securing the people of the state.
He noted that the failure has proven that if the former governments could have done the magic, they would have offered a solution to the insecurity ravaging the state before now.
He argued that for the Governor of Zamfara Dauda Lawal to declare that he has addressed the insecurity problem at 75% rate it is simply a mere narration, noting that it is either the Governor is not being told the true picture of things, or he doesn’t know exactly what is happening within his state.
