NSCDC ZAMFARA WARNS GSM TRADERS OVER STOLEN PHONES

The commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corp, Sani Mustapha has charged the phone sellers in Zamfara to desist from buying stolen phones as a way of sanitizing their business.

The commandant also warned scrapped sellers to desist from buying and selling of vandalized properties.

According to the statement signed by the Corp Public relations officer SC Ikor Oche the commandant dropped the warning when he played host to the state leadership of the Amalgamated Traders Association Zamfara state chapter at the state command headquarters in Gusau on Tuesday.

He stated that, the enabling Act of the Corp 2023 part (1) section 3 (g) had empowers the Corp to monitor the activities of the trade associations through out the country.

He also tasked the Amalgamated Traders Association in Zamfara to be sincere and transparent in their business operations.

The leader of the team Comr. Muhammad Zubairu commended the Corp for the commitment it has exhibited in the fight against criminal elements in the state.

Meanwhile, Comrade Muhammed Zubairu who led the team of traders extolled the Corps in the fight against crime and social vices in the state.

He said the essence of the visit is to familiarize the leadership of the association with the activities of the corps
