Former Governor of Zamfara State has denied having encounter with any airport official at Aminu Kano International Airport on Wednesday saying the allegation by the officials of (FAAN) is designed to tarnish his hard earned reputation.

It could be recall that, on Wednesday, the FAAN authorities took to the twitter to challenge what they termed as unruly behaviour of Governor Yari not strictly abiding by the FG Covid-19 protocols while at the Aminu Kano International Airport a situation they described as dangerous to the heath condition of the air travellers.

But in a reaction by one of his media consultants Mayowa Oluwabiyi the former Governor described the twit as deliberate attempt to cause injury to his reputation noting that, to the best of his knowledge and as patriotic citizen of Nigeria he has always comply with the laid down rules and guidelines set up by the government.

The Governor demanded for public apology from the FAAN authorities for the damage done to him.

On the publication by the former Aviation Minister Femi Fani Kayode, the former Governor threatened to sue him to court.
