As parts of the effort to strengthen the political reconciliation entered into with the Governor’s faction of the APC, former Governor of Zamfara Abdulazeez Yari has met with the state Commissioners, Special Advisers, and other political appointees who paid him a solidarity visit in his Talatar Mafara country home.
They were led by the Secretary to the State Government Kabiru Balarabe Dan-Isah and a host of other top government functionaries.
The SSG who underscored the vital role the reconciliation will play in ensuring political stability in Zamfara assured the former Governor that, they will remain loyal to whatever decision they have taken as leaders in the overall interest of the people of Zamfara State.
He also thanked the political leaders,, especially Governor Bello Matawalle and former Governor Yari for taking the giant step of bridging the political crack and bring back unity within the system.
In his remarks, former Governor Yari said he is optimistic that their decision to seal off their political differences and unite together is for the good of the state and expressed hope that God almighty has his reasons for allowing the reconciliation in this material time.
He assured that as leaders, they would work in unity to confront the major problem faced by the state so that normalcy ca be restored back in the state.
He thanked them for the visit and prayed for God almighty to reward them appropriately.
