The executive chairman of Zamfara State Hospital Services Management Board Dr. Muhammad Bashir Maru has resigned his appointment.
He made his position known during a brief handing over ceremony which took place at the headquarters of the board in Gusau on Monday.
Maru who expressed gratitude to God for sparing his life to witness the handing over date, thanked the Governor for according to him the opportunity to serve his state in different capacities.
He also thanked all those that worked with him and supported him to effect the desirous changes at the board, noting that he has forgiven all those he had wronged him directly or indirectly. And he also sought for forgiveness from all those he offended.
He said his resignation is in connection with his aspiration to contest for the post of Maru and Bungudu federal constituency under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
