The twenty-nine members of the Nigerian Union of Communication Zamfara state branch have regained their freedom.
This followed an intense negotiation that took place between the leadership of the union and the abductors.
They were clinically examined before they were allowed to unite with their families.
Chairman of the union in Zamfara Kabiru Mukhtar Yamusamu said they were grateful to all those who contributed in cash and kind, as well as those who prayed during the mourning period.
He also called on the people to continue to support them as business people so that they can be able to get their businesses revived.
