Zamfara State APC has concluded its gubernatorial campaign for Zamfara North Senatorial district with the conduct of the campaign rally at Birnin Magaji local government area of the state .
Birnin Magaji was the last local government to be visited in the Zamfara North Senatorial district by Zamfara APC after Kaura Namoda, Zurmi and Shinakfi.
Former Governor Abdulaziz Yari who doubled as the Chairman of APC gubernatorial campaign council in company of the gubernatorial candidate Governor Bello Matawalle, Deputy Governor Sen. Hassan Nasiha and former Governor Mahmuda Shinkafi led the campaign train to the area.
Prominent politicians including Sen. Sahabi Yau, former Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa and former member of the Federal House of Reps Aminu Sani Jaji were among the political power brokers that attended the campaign rally.
Governor Bello Matawalle who was looking visibly happy thanked the party supporters for their courage and promised to deliver to their expectation if re-elected into power.
While noting the tremendous effort made by his government, especially around fighting insecurity the Governor promised to do more this time around to consolidate from the area of security and infrastructural development .
The Chairman of the campaign council former Governor Yari also thanked the people of Birnin Magaji for their solidarity and show of love to the APC and urged them to come out in their totality and vote for the APC in the forthcoming 2023 election.
In a related development, the Emir of Birnin Magaji Alh Hussaini Dan Ali conferred the title of “Lamidon Brinin Magaji” to Governor Bello Matawalle.
