The All Progressive Congress Senator Marafa faction has sent a letter of commiseration to the staff and management of Thunder Blowers over the recent attack on their corporate head office in Gusau.
In a statement signed by the Secretary of the party Nasiru Muhammad Gummi said, the factional leader Senator Marafa is personally and deeply concern with the incident and directed the party to register his genuine concern to the management of the medium.
“Our political leader distinguished Senator Kabiru Marafa (CON) was personally concern that a staff of the organization escaped the unholy attack of the hooligans by the whiskers and some facilities in the office including the digital hardware were damaged. He directed the party office to register genuine concerns and condemned the action as desperate and undemocratic”.
The statement further stated, “as a faction of APC in the state, we are more worried that the office has good reasons to link the attack with the state government and its rival faction of the APC. With all sense of responsibility, we feel an attack of any degree on yours or other media outfits is uncalled for and want to pass unequivocal condemnation on the action and disassociate ourselves from its perpetrators”.
Sen. Marafa added in the statement “while condemning the action, our faction of APC in Zamfara state recognizes the platform provided by Thunder Blowers Multi Media Services for ethical journalism in Zamfara state by providing a voice to all and sundry with special focus on the socio-economic development of the state. We are therefore in solidarity with you in all the legitimate steps you take to identify the perpetrators of this act and seek redress accordingly”.
