APC SEN. MARAFA FACTION SENT A LETTER OF COMMISERATION TO THUNDER BLOWERS OVER ATTACK.

The All Progressive Congress Senator Marafa faction has sent a letter of commiseration to the staff and management of Thunder Blowers over the recent attack on their corporate head office in Gusau.

In a statement signed by the Secretary of the party Nasiru Muhammad Gummi said, the factional leader Senator Marafa is personally and deeply concern with the incident and directed the party to register his genuine concern to the management of the medium.

“Our political leader distinguished Senator Kabiru Marafa (CON) was personally concern that a staff of the organization escaped the unholy attack of the hooligans by the whiskers and some facilities in the office including the digital hardware were damaged. He directed the party office to register genuine concerns and condemned the action as desperate and undemocratic”.

The statement further stated, “as a faction of APC in the state, we are more worried that the office has good reasons to link the attack with the state government and its rival faction of the APC. With all sense of responsibility, we feel an attack of any degree on yours or other media outfits is uncalled for and want to pass unequivocal condemnation on the action and disassociate ourselves from its perpetrators”.

Sen. Marafa added in the statement “while condemning the action, our faction of APC in Zamfara state recognizes the platform provided by Thunder Blowers Multi Media Services for ethical journalism in Zamfara state by providing a voice to all and sundry with special focus on the socio-economic development of the state. We are therefore in solidarity with you in all the legitimate steps you take to identify the perpetrators of this act and seek redress accordingly”.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
