The Senator-elect for Zamfara North Senatorial District Sahabi Alhaji Ya’u has declared that, the zoning arrangements by the APC national headquarters is not known to them as senators-elect.
Sen. Yau who stated in an interview with the newsmen at the International Conference Center Abuja venue of the induction of the members of the 10th National Assembly, insisted that as per as himself and many other senators-elect under the platform of the APC are concerned, they are not aware of the zoning arrangement by the APC National on the new leadership of 10th assembly.
Ya’u, who has queued behind the aspiration of Zamfara West Senator-elect, Abdul’aziz yari, said as the new Senate President said: “I read about the zoning arrangement in the papers like other people. Nobody has discussed such a plan with us”.
He insisted that Senators-elect are the ones to decide who they want as President or Deputy President.”
