Some suspected gunmen invaded Masamar Mudi town in Bukkuyum local government area of Zamfara State on Saturday and killed four people.
A source who spoke exclusively to Thunder Blowers said, the gunmen came into the town at the noon and started firing shot on the innocent persons.
He said, the attack left behind three people dead on the spot, while the other one died at the hospital.
According to him, there are many casualties currently on admission at the General Hospital Bukkuyum undergoing medical examination.
He informed this medium that, later, they moved to Dan Gurunfa village but could not found anyone as the residents run for their safety having hearing the news of the ongoing attack at the neighboring village of Masamar Mudi.
Effort to reach the police in Zamfara was not successful as at the time of filing this report.
