The ruling All Progressive Congress in Zamfara has described the Tuesday judgment by the Federal High Court, Gusau as clear affirmation of the serious interparty crises which resulted in losing its ground in contesting for the post of Governor in 2023 election.
According to the statement by the Party Publicity Secretary Mal. Yusuf Idris Gusau said, the party need to put its house in order since the recent developments are signifying the fact that things are not well with the PDP.
Mr. Idris further said, the development is indicating that, the PDP in Zamfara is enforcing a rule of dictatorship beneath clear principles of democracy.
He also accused the PDP of violating electoral acts and nominating candidates without recourse to the provisions of the law noting that losing these ideological values by the PDP is what distinguished it with the APC.
“Anyone insisted for equity, most come with clean hands, that is the law of fairness and justice and as humans, we must respect this than castigate others”.
“We at the APC, especially at the Zamfara state chapter have always urged for orderliness, bringing citizens together for the betterment of our dear state but all we got from the PDP were castigation, allegations upon allegations”.
“No doubt, the APC has now been naturally vindicated that it remains the party to beat in Zamfara as it has continued to receive and enjoy the goodwill of the good people of Zamfara” Idris added.
