Suspected armed bandits abducted the District Head of Adabka Alh Nafiu Shehu and his royal maid Malam Ashiru Umar at around 12:00pm of Saturday at his palace in Adabka.
A resident of the town who spoke to this medium on condition of anonymity said the abduction came barely a week after a whole unit of police mobile attached to the area were withdrawn.
He said unsatisfied with the decision of the state police commissioner, the abducted district Head and member representing the area at the state house of assembly Sani Dahiru Adabka paid a visit to the state police commissioner to complain about the decision.
The attack came few hours after some gunmen invaded three communities of Dangurunfa, Masamar Mudi and Mallamawa area of same Bukkuyum local government killed eight persons and abducted scores of people.
Zamfara State Police Command Spokes Person SP Shehu Muhammad could not be reached for comment as at the time of filling this report.
