ARMED BANDITS THREAT IN TSAFE POLICE SAYS, NO CAUSE FOR ALARM
Zamfara State Police Command says there is no cause for alarm as it has taken appreciate steps to tackle the threat by suspected bandits to attack Tsafe town.
The Spokesperson of the command SP Shehu Muhammad who stated this in a statement on Saturday said, normalcy has returned to Tsafe area and that the command in collaboration with other security agencies have intensified joint ground and air surveillance patrol along Gusau-Tsafe road to ensure that all part of the area of Tsafe is safe.
He also urged commuters to go about doing their lawful business along Tsafe-Zaria road as the road has been cleared off the threat by the bandits.
“Similarly, Joint ground and air surveillance patrols have been intensified along the Gusau – Tsafe – Yankara Road with a view to averting any attack on the communities along the area,” Shehu added.
“Members of the public are enjoined to remain calm and continue with their normal legitimate business. They should equally support the security operatives with credible information about the activities of criminal elements for prompt action,” Shehu added.
