A video of clip has been trending on the social media where the Zamfara PDP Gubernatorial candidate Dauda Lawal was televised live saying if he is voted into power he will cheat on Zamfara people.
The leaked video clip has generated mixed political commentaries, hence the majority of Zamfara people could not understand why a Gubernatorial candidate can make this type of bold statement.
Political analysts insisted that the statement by the PDP candidate is politically demeaning, and it shall be a convincing reason why PDP shall be dealt with as it intend to do if voted to power.
Hashim Sa’id a strong supporter of the APC said he is not surprised at the statement by Mr. Dauda Lawal because Dauda was only expressing what is in his mind or rather his genuine intention if voted into power.
“If Zamfara people are sincere, they should have asked Mr Dauda to offer clarification on why he made such scary statement of planning to cheat on Zamfara people if elected”.
A female supporter of the APC Maimuna Lawali Zurmi asked Zmafara PDP to apologize for the insulting statement made by its Gubernatorial candidate because in her opinion it is political demeaning to the status of Zamfara people.
She warned Zamfara people not listen to PDP and its mockery; hence the party did not mean well for them
