The former Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje was denied access to the section allocated for the VIP’s at the eagle square venue of the swearing in of the new President Bola Ahmad Tinubu.
Governor Ganduje and his wife Hafsat had made an attempt to access the VIP section of the eagle square, but security agencies refused them on the ground that their invitation was not meant for accessing section reserved for the VIP’s.
BBC Hausa reported that after waiting for about 10 minutes, he opted to go to the other side of the square where invited guests were seated.
In the same vein, Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo was equally denied access to the VIP section just like Ganduje.
