Prominent Nigeria’s Islamic scholar Malam Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa married one Haulatau Aminu Ishaqa a world-class Qur’anic memorizer.
The solemnization of the marriage was conducted at the Gusau Jumu’at prayer ground and was well attended by hundreds of Muslim faithful, including the state government delegation led by Deputy Governor Sen. Hassan Nasiha Gusau.
Malam Aminu Daurawa was accompanied to the wedding ceremony in Gusau by the National Secretary of JIBWIS a prominent Islamic teacher Sheikh Kabiru Haruna Gombe who received the bride on behalf of the scholar.
Ahead of the ceremony, the two Islamic clerics Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa and Kabiru Haruna Gombe paid a courtesy visit to the state Acting Governor Sen. Hassan Nasiha at the state government house Gusau.
According to the statement by the spokesperson of the Zamfara Deputy Governor’s office Babangida Umar Zurmi, the Deputy Governor used the opportunity to thank the JIBWIS islamic group for their continued effort toward propagating the teaching of Islam.
He solicited for them to anchor the two weekly preaching sessions one at the Id-el prayer ground and the other one at the State Ministry for Women Affairs, a request which they accepted in the affirmative.
Gombe on behalf of the JIBWIS thanked the state government of Zamfara for their tireless support to the development of Islam and urged them to continue to sustain the momentum.
