Security agencies had announced that they have arrested some Katsina state government officials who are suspected to have connived and whisked away huge amount of money from Katsina State government house.
Katsina State government spokesperson Al-Amin Isah who stated this to news men insisted that for close to two weeks the incident of stealing money from the Katsina state government house coffer had actually occurred but according to him not to the extent people have been spreading it.
But Al-Ameen Isah did not explain to the news men the exact amount that was allegedly stolen by the suspects, instead he pointed out that those involved will offer explanation on how much is involved when investigation started.
As at now, some suspects among the finance staffers who were earlier pointed were released for reason of non involvement while the investigation into the circumstance that resulted to such development is ongoing
