Former Governor of Zamfara state Sen. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has now been chosen as the new APC leader in Zamfara.
First civilian Governor of Zamfara Sen. Ahmad Sani Yarima who announced this new development in a video clip which is viral all over the social media insisted that all supporters of APC in Zamfara shall rally round behind the new decision in the best interest of the success of the party in the state.
Yarima who stated that he will maintain his status as father of all in the politics of the state, explained that leaders in the party have agreed that Sen. Yari Abubakar should serve as the new leader of the party in the state.
He further stated that soonest a meeting will be held to strategize how the party will consolidate from its gains and sustain its successes.
He called on the party supporters particularly APC social media bloggers to unite themselves as one and accept the leadership of Almansoor Gusau in the interest of the unity of the party.
