Minister of State for Defense Bello Muhammad Matawalle has stated that Governor Dauda Lawal has been receiving between N19 to N24b as Federal Allocation from the Federal government of Nigeria.

Matawalle who stated this in a statement by his former Information Commissioner Ibrahim Magaji Dosara stated during his time as Zamfara Governor what he used to collect on behalf of Zamfara State is between N3b to N4b as monthly allocation.

Matawalle challenged the Governor to make public the amount he used to collect from the federation account and make comparison of it in terms of development project he claimed to have achieved.

He argued that despite the little resources that came his way from the federation account as Governor of Zamfara then, he made sure that he has done what is needed to develop Zamfara State.
