SHINKAFI EMIR ACCEPT RESIGNATION OF COUNCIL MEMBERS, RE-CONFER TITLE TO OTHERS

Emir of Shinkafi Alh Muhammad Makwashe Isah and members of his council have accepted the resignation of those title holders from the Emirate who opted to surrendered their titles after former Aviation Minister was conferred with the title of Sadaukin Shinkafi few weeks back

Those whose resignations were accepted include:
1- Sardaunan Shinkafi
2- Dan Majen Shinkafi
3- Uban Marayun Shinkafi
4- Sarkin Shanu Shinkafi
5- Iyan Shinkafi
The Emir also approved the re-award of the titles to distinguished individuals from the Emirate Council as follows:
1- Sardaunan Shinkafi
Hon. Aliyu Jibrin Guraguri.
2- Dan Majen Shinkafi
Hon. Umar Abdullahi Shinkafi
3- Uban Marayun Shinkafi
Hon. Bello Hassan Shinkafi
4- Sarkin Shanu Shinkafi
Dr. Usman Muhammad Shanawa.
The Emir had also announced the conferment of fresh chieftaincy titles to other distinguished individuals as follows:

It could be recalled that, some distinguished council members of the emirates including the wife of the former Governor of Zamfara State Hajiya Khadija Umar Shinkafi resigned their titles following the conferment of the title of Sadaukin Shinkafi to the former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani Kayode.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
